Personal use only snapshots are encouraged on mobile phones or tables and must be conducted without disrupting Museum operations and other visitors while keeping in mind the safety of the historic collection. This policy is in keeping with other world-class museums to improve the visitor experience, focus on our mission of learning, and minimize unauthorized commercial exploitation of The Neon Museum’s historic collection.

You are welcome to take casual, still snapshots or video with a smartphone or tablet only.

Professional cameras are only allowed during our prescheduled 照片散步, 肖像小时, or 私人摄影.

A reservation is required for those who wish to shoot for editorial or commercial use, bring additional camera equipment, record video or use The Neon Museum collection as a backdrop for posed, 导演, portrait or professional 照片y.  Revenue generated from photo shoots assists The Neon Museum in its ongoing effort to conserve, 保存, display and expand the collection. For these reasons, image use is strictly controlled.

Please refrain from any video or audio recording during our 才华横溢的! 头奖的显示.  Still snapshots are encouraged in this experience.

The Museum encourages you to post images on your personal social media feeds.

The Museum does not allow personal images to promote a product, 服务, 业务, 艺术家或个人.

Commercial 照片y options are available; however, reservations are required and must be approved by the Museum and booked in advance.

The following is never allowed during admission:

• Bringing a designated 照片er to shoot portrait-style 照片y
• Props, costumes, or large bags 
• Add on equipment such as: ring lights, tripods, monopods, flashes, 等.
• Distracting or blocking other Museum visitors from enjoying the collection

• Selling or publishing images taken at The Neon Museum. Stock 照片y and retail items containing images of the Museum collection are never permitted

Below are the options for bringing a professional camera to the Museum:

Private Shoots - personal or commercial

Scheduled photo shoots are a private experience in the Museum. All photo and video equipment is permitted (with the exception of drones) and wardrobe changes are permitted.

Shoot fees start at $300 (additional fees or discounts may apply) and vary according to the type and scale of a shoot, 员工人数, 人力资源需求, 建议使用图像, 分布, 一天中的时间, 等.

Portrait and personal use shoots must be scheduled in advance.

The Neon Museum defines commercial use as: images used directly in the marketing and promotion of a product, 服务, 艺术家, 个人或企业. Examples of commercial use include: music videos, 时尚摄影, 社交媒体广告, 有影响力的人, web系列, 营销材料, 广告, 电视节目, 故事片, 纪录片, 等. Commercial use also includes advertising for 服务s and products (such as clothing brands) on your personal social media site. The Neon Museum reserves the right to further define commercial use on a case-by-case basis. Photography and film shoots for commercial purposes must be approved and scheduled in advance.

拍照散步每月一次, 是预定, and allow up to 20 hobby 照片ers to wander the Museum collection at their leisure with all of their chosen equipment (drones are not permitted). Pictures taken on photo walks are for personal use only. No further commercial, 美术, portraiture, or editorial use is permitted. 拍照的费用是75美元. Fine Artists and Hobby Photographers

• A shoot must be scheduled in advance if you wish to bring a camera or models.
• Stock 照片y and retail items containing images of The Neon Museum collection are never permitted.• Artist, 照片y groups, classes, or workshops seeking to visit, please submit a request form. 

新闻媒体

Members of the media must make arrangements for all photo and video shoots in advance. To coordinate a shoot, please fill out this form. 

Members of the media must be escorted by a Public Relations staff person at all times or have permission from PR to shoot independently. All organized photo shoots inside the Museum—for news coverage, school projects, 等.-需要工作人员陪同.

The following rules apply to all 照片y at The Neon Museum:

 • The Neon Museum is 501(c)3非营利组织 educational museum and respect for staff and the collection must be maintained
• Guests, 照片ers, and their equipment must stay on pathways. Standing on benches or crossing over stanchions/rock borders is strictly prohibited
• Stock 照片y and retail items containing images of The Neon Museum collection are never permitted
• Damage the Collection in any way is prohibited, 包括倾斜, 推, 坐着, 站, 触碰, or placing objects on any part of the Collection; appearing to damage any part of the Collection; moving behind or between any part of the Collection; or throwing or tossing objects near the Collection.  
• Using drones or aerial vehicles to capture Images is not permitted 
• You may not use props such as balloons, 五彩纸屑, 羽毛, 烟花, 烟/雾炸弹, 罗马焰火筒或, 等.
• Using the bathrooms on the Premises as a makeup or dressing area is not permitted
• Entering the Premises intoxicated or consuming alcohol or tobacco products while on the Premises is prohibited

• You may not bring any animals on the Premises, unless authorized by the Museum or under applicable law 

If any individual or group does not comply with the above conditions, The Neon Museum reserves the right to deny permission to 照片 and may request that the individual or group leave the premises and forfeit their admission/reservation fee.

天气及取消政策

As the Museum is an outdoor collection, all admissions are subject to cancelation due to inclement weather such as: temperatures of 110°F (43°C) or higher, sustained winds over 24mph or gusts of over 39mph, lightning less than 5 miles away from the Museum, 或者空气质量警告. Please note that we seldom cancel for rain. 如果发生取消, we will attempt to reschedule your visit wherever possible or provide a full refund. We will make every effort to accommodate your visit. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and under站. Your visit will not be refunded or rescheduled due to weather prior to your scheduled start time, meaning for example if there is inclement weather two hours before your visit, it may not be at the time of your visit. Please keep in mind that in the winter, temperatures can reach as low as 33°F (0°C) and summer temperatures can reach as high as 120°F (49°C). 

Fees are non-refundable, with the exception of inclement weather.
